Teacher Ana
School Coordinator /Teacher
Hello, I am Ana or some call me Teacher Ana. With a background in business and a passion for early childhood education, I have taken the role of School Coordinator/Teacher at Fanfan International School with the vision of creating an excellent educational environment that both challenges children to reach their potential and makes learning fun along the way.
I spent a large part of my life learning and living in an international environment. I was born in the Philippines but spent my early foundational years attending international school abroad, making English my first language, followed by my country's national language of Tagalog. I have lived in Japan for 20 years. I also hold an accounting degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. As a professional business developer as well as English Teacher, I have led various language courses dedicated to early childhood education as well as for business purposes. I also have a certificate in IB Head of School - PYP and Reggio Emilia approach.
With self-motivation and international mindedness, as the School Coordinator/Teacher of FIS, I am committed to creating a wide range of learning opportunities, where every student will be inspired to learn and encouraged to share their individual interests.
In my private life, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am passionate about baking and try to do some cake decorations while bringing happiness and excitement through the art of food.
Teacher Cindy
Lead Teacher
Hi, I'm Teacher Cindy!
I'm from the Philippines, and I've been living in Japan for 6 years now. I got my Bachelor's Degree from Meiji University and my background in teaching is focused on early childhood education (from 0-6 years old). For most of my students, it is their first time experiencing a school environment so I want to make sure that the environment I am providing in my class is comfortable, nurturing, and of course fun! I believe that by observing, listening, questioning, and reflecting, it is possible to support a child's strengths, needs, interests, and overall development - which ultimately is our goal as teachers.
I also aim for my students to be comfortable with the English language. I have been teaching English to kids of different levels and backgrounds by creating lesson plans that are best suitable for each child. Creating a welcoming environment will make learning English easy and enjoyable!
